Bought this specifically because it was advertised to have a -25 downward angle. After 30 minutes of fighting with it, I cannot get any downward angle. I purchased this extra tall mount specifically so it can be tilted down above other monitors and it cannot do that

Great quality, price super reasonable, installation took 5mins, if that! 100% will buy again if I ever need another.

This monitor stand is sturdy, and everything is made of quality metal, the structure is also well designed to support weight of 49 inch monitors. However one critical negative about this mount is that it uses spring mechanism to hold up the massive monitor weight, and the spring is adjusted to have tension constantly pointed upwards. This made adjusting the monitor to negative angle tilt very awkward, the stiffness meant that you have to tie the bolt super tight which will eventually wear the spring out faster, if the springs snap, there goes your monitor and the one below it.This product needs some re-designing, the idea of extra tall pole meant that people usually go for vertical stacked monitors with lower monitor using stand. Therefore users are looking for the negative tilt funtion most likely to adjust view angle as they are sitting, which as mentioned above is pretty awkward.

Ok mount for larger monitors (44 lbs and under). It's not as convenient as a full gas spring monitor arm mount, but it is also a lot less expensive. You will have to play around and find cables that work for the USB "cable clamps" in the base because there is no cable hub or anything included. The quality is there and it's heavy duty as it should given the brand. The adjustments are a bit of a pain making you loosen screws and play the "did i get the exact angle I wanted" game. It's difficult to make adjustments solo since you're either hunched over the monitor or behind it and then if someone is helping you, you'll end up getting just a bit more sag / tilt when you stop supporting the monitor when you have it exactly where you want. After setup you will be good to go though as long as you don't want to change the tilt or height. Left and right are easy peasy though and it keeps the monitor steady.Hard to beat the price and Vivo is a brand I have used many times without any issues or failures so I do recommend the company.

It was pretty easy to assemble, checked over the included directions before I began. Took maybe 10minutes to build and mount the monitor. Would have liked to see one singular pole, instead of two that needs to be screwed together with a screw. I haven't had any issues with leaning or stability, but I could see it being an issue for some, somewhere along the way. My monitor was also on the lighter side.
