Características:
VONETS VAP11G-300 es un 2,4GHz Puente WiFi Repetidor de señal inalámbrica/Extensor de señal de punto de acceso, puede lograr WiFi a cable o cable a WiFi (WiFi a Ethernet o conversión de Ethernet a WiFi);

Nota: Este dispositivo no se puede enchufar a un puerto USB y a una fuente de alimentación de DC al mismo tiempo (no se pueden usar dos tipos de fuente de alimentación al mismo tiempo). Y no conecte el cable USB del producto a el puerto USB de la PC/computadora portátil para alimentar, necesita usar una fuente de alimentación Típica/Independiente de 5V/2A para alimentar.

Características del hardware
- Admite voltaje amplio DC5V-15V (típico 5V/2A, ondulación inferior a 100mV);
- Interfaz: 1 orificio de alimentación DC2.0; 1 cable de fuente de alimentación dedicado dos en uno, con un conjunto de fuente de alimentación y un conjunto de cable Ethernet adaptable de 10/100M;
- Instrucción de estado LED:
- Estado de WiFi/estado de conexión de punto de acceso (luz azul);
- estado del puerto Ethernet (verde claro para el éxito);
- Botón de reinicio: mantenga presionado durante 5 segundos y luego suelte (durante la operación, el producto no se puede apagar, de lo contrario, puede dañar el producto).
Modo Puente
puede convertir WiFi a red RJ45 (Ethernet) o RJ45 a WiFi. Use el cable de red VAP11G-300 para conectarlo al puerto de red de la computadora y luego conecte la computadora a Internet. La función de puente puede realizar la conexión de dispositivos cableados con WiFi, lo que resuelve en gran medida los problemas de cableado difícil de dispositivos cableados.
Modo Repetidor
El modo repetidor puede expandir la red existente, en el borde de la cobertura de la señal del punto de acceso WiFi original, puede recibir la señal WiFi débil y luego aumentarla a la fuerza segura normal. Puntas:
- Después de la configuración, si este dispositivo no funciona con sus dispositivos o si su aplicación es AP administrado por CA, cámara GoPro, AP Cisco, sistema de vigilancia Hikvision, cambie la configuración de "Modo de transmisión" a "capa MAC transparente";
- Si desea utilizar Huawei o iPhone como punto de acceso de origen para el puente WiFi, seleccione "Coincidencia de SSID y contraseña" en la "Configuración avanzada" debajo de la contraseña del punto de acceso de nivel superior durante la configuración.
- Si el dispositivo se desconecta con frecuencia u otros problemas durante el uso, puede actualizar el software en línea y puede resolver el problema.

Si tu red está cerca del repetidor no vas a tener problemas, pero en mi caso que lo quería para conectar un DVR de cámaras de vigilancia la red estaba algo lejos y la cobertura de este repetidor es básica, decidí regresarlo y comprar el de grado industrial ese me funcionó para mi propósito, pero este la vdd funciona bien si lo necesitas para una red que esté lo bastante cerca, ya que sino se te va a estar desconectando.

Used this to connect to a WiFi only hotspot so I could have an ethernet port for an extra WAN connection. Setup was super easy, no issues. i also like the flexible power options, adapter or USB.

I have had three of these in service now for more than a year. I use them for VoIP phones where there is no wires, and as client devices plugged into a switch to allow a small workgroup to be connected where there is no network connection to the area.Works very well, and trouble-free. The flashing lights are a bit annoying in the bedroom, but with a bit of creativity, you can get a bit of peace and quiet from the lights. (DONT cover the vents)The manual is slightly better than average for this type of product, and the manufacturer still provides firmware updates over the internet which is a boon and unusual.Not only would I buy it again, I just did for a new project, and its working great.

si funciona muy bien, yo lo compre para ponerlo en el NVR de las camaras de vigilancia a travez del puerto ethernet y funciona sin problema, si lo tienen que configurar primero a traves de la computadora y luego ya puede servir sin problema en cualquier dispositivio porq automaticamente cuando lo conectan a la electricidad se conecta a la red WIFI q seleccionaron

I spent an entire day trying to get this to work. Just for reference, I am pretty good with technology. I can make almost anything work - and I gave this everything I had. I read web articles, watched YouTube videos, and when all else failed, I did a ton of trial and error. My MacBook Pro would not connect to the device's configuration page - at all. I finally booted up an old Windows 7 machine and got that to connect. Sometimes - and even this was wildly unreliable. Sometimes it would connect, sometimes it wouldn't. Once I got it to connect to the hotspot - same thing. Sometimes it would connect, sometimes it wouldn't. Sometimes it would have okay speed. Sometimes it had next to no speed at all - but once it was connected to a hotspot, the configuration page became even more unreliable, so trying to figure out what went wrong was usually a complete guess. It was so finicky that I finally decided to just return it and be done with it. Also, it cannot connect at speeds above 100 Mbps. Normally that wouldn't be a problem, because this thing isn't likely to exceed those speeds, but one of my other devices will only connect at speeds of 1Gbps and above - and that happens to be the device that I was hoping to use with this. But I finally figured out a way around this obstacle, but the unreliability was a deal breaker in the end. Nobody could say I didn't try!

I moved and found that could not put my cable router near the entertainment center for physical wiring. I bought this for the Tivo box. I connected it to my computer and configured for the WiFi network. I then connected it to the Tivo box and it fits the bill perfectly. I will add a small switch to connect in my old Blueray player as well. Haven't tried that yet. I also left the repeater on and it adds a strong signal for that end of the house. I deducted a star for the same complaints others have. The directions are terrible. I have some experience and had no trouble. But, I cannot see someone without experience following the directions. The lights are bright and pretty frenetic. The whole thing is vented, which makes it hard to cover the lights. That said, it does its function well. Ask a tech savvy friend to set it up if the directions deter you.An update. I did add a Blackbox USB powered switch and use this for everything in my entertainment center as well as a wireless camera base station. Works flawlessly.

I am so excited! I am working from home now during the pandemic, and I set up some backup systems in place just to make that it goes as uninterruptedly as possible such as having a Jackery for backup power and putting some extra GB on my cell phone plan in case my home internet goes down. The one weakness of my setup was that the VOIP Cisco 8841 phone supplied by the company could not connect wirelessly. Sure enough, there was an internet outage at my home Friday, and I had to have coworkers take over my call responsibilities. No more! This morning I configured this in less than 5 minutes to the WIFI from my cell phone used as a hotspot. I just plugged the ethernet cable into the port on my laptop and easily followed the configuration instructions which were little more than going to the address in the instruction booklet and selecting the name of my hotspot network. I unplugged my router from my phone's power injector and plugged this into the power injector in its place. My phone recognized it was online and let me log in and make a call. Now I could theoretically work from anywhere my cell phone can get a signal! I powered the unit by plugging its USB lead into a small power bank for convenience. The lead from the AC adapter is short though you could always use it with USB extension if desired. There is also a hole that looks like it is where the power should go, but I didn't need and have not figured out how to use that. So you can imagine how easy this is to configure if I am no brighter that that! Also, I just unplugged it for about 15 minutes, and when I plugged it back in, it remembered its configuration. What a helpful device in these trying times!
