Good length and I like the effect of the square shape with my square rain shower head. Easily connected into my system. It seems to be well constructed. I was disappointed that the ad said it would be a brushed nickel finish but I ended up with a chrome finish. There was a switch in the ordering process that I did not catch. At least it is close to the ceiling, so hopefully the difference will not be too noticeable as my bathroom is all brushed nickel.

The finish of this shower arm looks good and true to color. There are no surface defects on the outer side, not that it would matter since you wouldn't see it behind the shower head. On the inner diameter of the connection fitting however, it looks a little rough -- possibly weld mounds or something to that effect. It shouldn't interfere with the flow of the water though.
