For us families on the go and until the kids learn to tie their own shoes these are perfect ! And although not name brand are still fashionable especially when the clothes are cute my son prefers these over all his shoes . Seems to be comfy and so easy to slip on and off the Velcro strip over a faux lace is what makes it fashionable (functioning)
