I use this for my GoPro Max, and the camera does a great job hiding the pole post production. The pole can extend incredibly far, and allows for a great angle on those full mountain shots!It’s not heavy, but this is not the lightest pole you can find. When fully collapsed, it is likely about a foot+ long, so also not the most compact, but for the reach it provides it is wonderful!

Seems to be of good quality, definitely looks good haven't had opportunity to try it but will update ASAP.

I don't have an Insta but used this with a GoPro 11 and Ricoh Theta V. I put a ball head on for the GoPro and attached the Theta directly. It extends the 52" for hard to get shots. It's metal so it's heavy but that's good because it is durable and should last a long time. I've had other selfie sticks break because they are cheaply made but this one seems way better.

It's a real shame, this stick checked all the boxes, lightweight, longer than most yet compact when compressed. However, bought it for a 3 week trip and 1 week into the trip after just a few uses, a section broke off and we were left with 1/2 a stick for the rest of the trip. By the time we got back, the return window had passed. So yeah, buyer beware.
