I use this for my Gopro and my phone holder when taking video at our business. I have another one different brand but almost identical as well. this one is very sturdy when sitting on a flat surface and i love the extension length for getting the camera up high. definitely recommend.

This tripod feels really high-quality. I wasn't expecting it to look and feel so premium. The button on the bottom opens up the tripod legs. I would have liked a little more springiness with the legs popping open. Sometimes one or two of the legs stick a bit and you have to push the button harder or push on the legs a bit. But really not a big deal.The tripod legs are sturdy and the tripod stands fairly strong. It's very stable while the extension pole is all the way down and is still mostly stable at about halfway extended.It does get a little wobbly when fully extended, but I have another tripod that does the same thing. I don't think there's anything you can really do about that. It still works great, you just have to be more careful about bumping it or putting it on uneven surfaces.It comes with a GoPro-style mount, so that's nice.The top has a standard 1/4" screw, so you can connect most camera accessories to it. I would have liked if this came with an adjustable ball head or some ability to rotate the angle of the camera. If you're using this with a GoPro, you can use the adaptor to change the angle, but if you're using a phone, you'll need a GoPro-compatible phone mount or you'll need to buy a separate ball head to screw into the 1/4" screw. I ordered this specifically to record videos from straight ahead, so it works perfectly for my needs.
