This doesn't hold a candle to modern glass trackpads - which, I might add, have been around for a LONG time now (at least 15 years), so I'm surprised this isn't one.It feels absolutely terrible to use, there is waaaaaaay too much friction. This feels like a throwback to the 90s trackpads as far as finger resistance goes.Does it work? Sure, but it's not an enjoyable experience. There is no tactile feedback for clicking, which I guess is up to personal preference if you think that's a good or a bad thing. I for one would prefer to have it, as I am used to having it from just about every modern trackpad I've used. It's pretty small, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It is comparable to a lot of built-in trackpads on laptops.Wired-only is part of what makes it cheap, which I am fine with - I often keep my bluetooth trackpad plugged in anyway. The listing clearly states that this is not compatible with macOS, but since they very (also clearly) used a photo showing it connected to a Mac (the keyboard in the photo has keys that only appear on Mac keyboards, though the USB-A port suggests it's not a very recent Mac) I figured I would at least see what would happen. Sure enough, macOS think it's a keyboard and does not treat any input from it as that of a trackpad. The included cable is of a good length, though it feels a little dated to have a USB-A connector on the computer end. Sure, it's just an accessory so it doesn't need speed or anything - but USB-A ports are getting more rare nowadays. What this does do well is build quality - it's got a solid metal enclosure which is very stiff (as in, it does not bend). It's super light, and it's got nice little friction pads to make it stay still on the desk.Overall, this is certainly a good quality trackpad and it might fit your use case. But for actual comfort in use, no thank you.

Not much to be said here, which is a 5 star review in itself. I'm using w11, so once I plugged it in, it simply worked. No configuration, no driver, no software suite, nothing. Just plain and simple "oh hey you have a touchpad". The device is a nice thin machined metal, that looks quite nice and feels good to the touch. I was able to fit it in-between the throttle and flight stick on a sim setup, and it's a nice low profile that disappears into the rest of my device. There is no battery on it, as it needs to be plugged in to work. This might be a deal breaker for some, but it's nice to have it always work and never need to charge, especially as it's some place that being plugged in isn't a problem. My only complaint is that the pad has a micro usb plug on it. I would really prefer USB C, but that's a bit of a nitpick over durability of micro vs C ports and cables.Overall I'm very happy with this and feel it was a good value for its price.

Great size and sensitivity. Works really well with my Windows 11 laptop.Unlike other touch pads I've tried, this one, simply powered by USB is on and ready to use anytime. The wireless one, even when plugged in, turn itself off.It had a strange kind of grippy film on it that I was able to remove with rubbing alcohol.
