I used this to hide delsilvering marks around the edge of our bathroom mirrors. Looks great and holding strong still after 12 months with no lifting, bubbling or peeling. Cleaning products have not caused any damage or wear at all.

When we first opened the package,we were a bit concerned that all of the other reviews about not being "sticky" enough were indeed true BUT we decided to give it a try for the intended purpose, and lo and behold it worked beautifully.With a little patience, and the assistance of another two hands, the tape adhered nicely to the stainless steel furniture feet that we had installed on our newly renovated entertainment unit. The tape is easy to lift in order to smooth out any bubbles that may form, allowing for a seamless professional look.The reason we wanted to put chrome tape on the feet was due to the colour of the feet being a warm muted tone, and we needed a cool chrome look, hence the tape idea, which at the end of the day worked just as we had hoped.

THIS WRAP IS EASY TO INSTALL. IT STICKS WELL AND LOOKS GOOD ON MY CHROME GRILL. THE REASON FOR THE 4 STARS IS THAT IT IS VERY THIN. I HAVE A COUPLE OF LIGHT SCRATCHES ON MY GRILL, AND IT SHOWED RIGHT THROUGH THE WRAP.

No adhesive and cannot be used as any kind of tape, static has more adhesion.As a wrap product it would work if you're making a stripe, it doesn't join well at seams or to itself and the edges peel easily. Unlikely to stick for long in an outside automotive situation.The chrome finish will reflect the surface you're applying it on so any imperfections will show through as it is very thin.I tested the self healing claim and most contact will scratch the finish or cut it and a heat gun did not fix it.The good news is I could remove it with a leaf blower.
