Used to replace broken plastic caps on my rv trailer. Plastic was much thinner than the pen product, time will tell how they hold up to the sun.

I do like these vents, I gave it 4/5 stars for two reasons. They are a little on the flimsy side. They are lighter then the ones that I replaced. The other reason is the screw that holds the cover from falling off is not included, nor is it drilled for. Yes the caps will stay on, but they are not fully secure until you install that little screw. There is a place for it. I had to run down an 1/8" bit for a #8 3/4" stainless screw to fit. Otherwise, once they are installed they seem fine.

We replaced an identical one on our RV, which had broken. I bought 2, have a spare in the closet
