These bolts were perfect to replace the rusted disgusting ones on the stem of my white 2014 Giant Defy2. It is right where I sweat down, and over time those bolts looked horrible. The new ones won't oxidize/rust (hopefully- so far, so good!) I took a chance on the size, but ordered the exact size needed. When I measured the length of the bolt it came to 18mm but I chose 20mm because I couldn't see the end of the bolt out the other side- I felt slightly longer would still work and be even stronger. When I used the allen wrench to take off the bolts (1 at a time) I used cleaner and a q-tip to get all of the gunk and oxidation away from the area, then put 1 drop of machine oil onto the threads of the new bolt and screwed each one back in snugly, then tightened up all 6 bolts when finished. I thought I only needed 4 (my attention was only on the 4 bolts that have the tapered part facing out from the stem bracket) but there are 2 mounted perpendicular and nearer to the rider in the back of the bracket. Be careful when you tighten down not to accidentally strip the bolts- it might mar the finish. I didn't price these bolts at a bike store, but I am fairly confident the price would be much more, and I saved myself having to take my bike in to bother a mechanic. I probably couldn't do that anyway during this pandemic! Good luck- it was a fun little project that wasn't "necessary" but to a person with an eye for detail, it was a definite upgrade.

The bolt snapped in half upon installing on my bike handlebars. Returning and will not be ordering these again.

Just like the title says, the box was labeled 5M, listing reads 5M, advertised and sold as 5M, but they are 4M.LUCKILY, I just happened to need them anyway. I kept them, will not be re-ordering anytime soon.
