Bright, but has some flaws in the engineering.One click turns it on to bright mode, and to turn it off you must press it three more times. Once to go to dim, a second time to set to strobe, and a third time to turn it off. That’s just bad design. It should be one click on and one click off, hold to change between dim and bright modes, and a quick double click to turn on strobe. Then for the side light, you literally have to hold the button down for like five seconds to turn it on. It is a very dim and widely scattered light, then a red LED that produces almost zero visibility in the dark, and a flashing red light.. should’ve been Amber instead of red, and a simple click to turn the light on, and hold for a couple seconds to change modes.It was definitely designed by someone who has never had to use a flashlight, and I do not recommend it. There are much more thoughtfully engineered flashlights out there at a similar price point.

This is a very nice flashlight, but.....I hope the manufacturer creates a better manual. A buyer shouldn't have to rely on other people's reviews to learn how to get the flashlight working as advertised. I say this because initially the flashlight 'charge' indicator was displaying a full charge but the light was weak and flickered. I charged for a couple hours and still no difference. Then I unscrewed the base of the light to check it out. Nothing noticeable but I then noticed a small white circle piece of paper on the floor. Apparently this is a blocker of sort to be removed once received. After that, the flashlight responded as I expected: Click the ON-button once, High-Beam. Click again, Low-Beam. Click a third time, Strobe. Fourth click is Off. The flashlight lens can be moved forward-back to adjust the Zoom beam of the light.The next issue where a better manual would have helped was activating the side-beam. The manual indicates 'single-click'. The product advertisement indicates a double-click. This doesn't work. What must be done is hold down the ON-button for about 3-seconds and the side-beam will come on. Once on, click again and the side-beam turns steady red-color. A third click and it turns Strobe-Red. Fourth click is Off. The side-beam can be activated while in any mode of the main light (e.g., High/Low beam, Strobe).. Just press the ON button for about 3-seconds. Note that the main light and the side-beam light do not light at the same time. Either the main-light or side-light is activated.This is a USB-C chargeable flashlight (cable included). There are 4-blue lights located above the ON-button to indicate the battery charge. The lens end of the flashlight has a rippled edge that could be used to break a car window for example. The flashlight has a very solid feel to it. Also included is a wrist strap.Overall a great flashlight once you get it working and know how it functions.

The light is impressive, intuitive operation, click through brightness and to strobe, same for side light and red side strobe. I like the battery charge indicator, 4 blue LEDS on the side just above the power switch. You can pull out on lens to expand or reduce the amount of light spread from the main light. The USB charging port is easy to open. The white sidelight is bright enough to easily read, write, view a paper map, etc. There is a wrist cord for security and an included USB-A to USB-C card for charging, you must provide the power source to charge the device. I am not planning to try to escape from my car underwater, but it is neat to know the front bezel is capable of being used as an emergency safety hammer!A couple of things I did not like were the instructions were kind of rudimentary, but adequate. There seems to be more info on the Amazon website page then included with the device itself. The SOS function does not send a Morse code SOS (... --- ...) it just blinks like a strobe, so technically that strobe function (on both the bright white main light and red side light) can attract attention. The web page states there is a 6,000 mAhr battery, but mine arrived with a 5,500 mAhr battery. That last bit miffed me a little. If they changed spec and no longer supply a 6,000 mAhr battery, then the web page should be changed. If they are out of stock of the 6,000 mAhr batteries, then they should include a note with the unit explaining that. But when you expect an item to meet the published specs, you really want it to meet those specifications.The IP45 rating means the device resists both objects and water spray, but the included guide cautions against using it in water. I suspect the device is okay in rain or if sprayed while in use but not suitable for total immersion. But I also suspect you could put the device into a zip-seal freezer bag and use it while under water, provided you are not deep diving with it.Despite my above complaints, all easily addressable by the seller, I am impressed with the quality of the device. Due to the cited observations I deducted one star from my rating. Had they included the advertised battery I probably would have rated it 5 stars. It is a really nice device!

I've got several similar lights at this point, and this one is an excellent example, from what I've seen. There are no sharp, unfinished edges, the end cap threads on smoothly, the gasket under that end cap seems quality and stays in place, and the light is very bright - comparable to a big spotlight style flashlight I've got.All of these have their manual of arms. I actually didn't notice the little side light in the pics and wasn't sure what it was when it came in. The main light is high/low/strobe/off, and the side light is (bright) white/red/red strobe/off. The odd part is that to turn on the side light, you have to turn on the main light, then hold the power button for 3 seconds, at which point the side light comes on white (and the main light goes off). Then you can click through red/red strobe/off. But pushing the power button again makes the main light come on, so the side light isn't "sticky." Also, there's no magnet or clip to hold the light in place, so if you use the side light for, say, a road-side emergency flasher while you go for gas (or whatever), you'll need to secure it somehow. Not the end of the world, but something to consider. I've got another of these with a magnetized bezel strong enough that it'll hold tightly on a vertical surface, which is kind of handy.Also of note is that there's a little paper disc between the back of the battery and the contact, so it needs removing before use. I check the gaskets before I check anything else on these, so ran across that by chance.
