Clean easy to work with solder pads, extremely tiny form factor, and a Raspberry Pi SoC. What's not to love?Works as well as an arduino for teaching hardware concepts. On board LED was easy to control.Power performance isn't great, so better used for wall-powered projects, or on something like an RC vehicle that you don't expect to get weeks of use from on a charge. The pi chip used is supposed to have anti-cloning security features similar to Microchip's lineup, so it could conceivably even be used to prototype a niche hardware gadget you could sell. This is a decent price for a prototyping board, and if you make a product based on it, you can get them cheaper still and soldered onto your custom PCB.

I've ordered socks that came with more documentation and accessories. But like another reviewer mentioned this RP2350-USB-A board has a wiki on the waveshare site that can help you get started. It's a good little thing to have on hand even if you don't have any projects in mind. Relatively inexpensive, and very much so for me :) . I ran it through some tests to see what it could do, but haven't put it to good use yet. I'll think of something for it for I'm sure.

The unit is as advertised. It has a USB C connector to the host, unlike the micro USB connectors Raspberry Pi Picos generally come with. It doesn’t come with any cables, pins, or documentation. However, there is a wiki available for this Waveshare RP2350-USB-A-board. It has a WS2812B RGB LED. Getting the LED to work was relatively easy using the neopixel module in micropython. I’ve not been able to get their USB demo software to work. It’s a fairly compact board, making it easy to fit in small projects.

Nice little controller - I wish it came pre-soldered instead of the way it did, would have saved me a lot of time.Works as indented, easy to set up and get started with it (once you solder the pins on).
