looking for a heavy duty soldering pencil/iron to do stained glass hobby stuff. this meets the needs very well, the ability to change the tips is a very good feature. variable power settings will make sure it is hot enough to do teh job as needed

It's a versatile soldering iron with variable heat control. It came with only one tip. For the price I would have expected to receive a few selection of different size tips.

This crapped out on me in the first use. Got red hot in the middle, sparks flew so i turned it off. Turned it back on and although it shows as 'on' it was dead at all temps - no where near hot enough to solder. Terrible quality, and can't get a return.

Lasted 4 months of casual use. Never will I purchase Weller again..... same limited uses with the tips as well. Wasted $221.10. Not happy!
