I am not quite sure how this pencil is supposed to be, but I had it on my lap and it came apart easily. I don’t think that it should come apart like that.

I don't understand why anyone would want a mechanical pencil that requires a sharpener. I though the whole point of a mechanical pencil was that it stays sharp with a click. The size of the pencil is perfect for my 7 year olds hand so I am going to give it to him. The size of the sharpener is about perfect for his eyes and hand size too. A decent pencil for very young people. Definately not for anyone with aging eyes.

I always like to get my son one primary special pencil for his school box, along with the typical box of 24 pre-sharpened for the classroom. It becomes his go-to pencil and ends up lasting the whole year. This year we got this one and he is so excited to start using it in a few short weeks. The led is easy to refill and it seems to all work great. It even comes with a tiny little pencil sharpener to include in his supplies.

I really like the pencil set! Lead is tough and perfect for both writing and sketching. Plus, the eraser and sharpener are super handy. Good price and quick delivery too. Definitely a solid buy!
