This is a very good blade. If you don't push it to fast it cuts very good without chipping. I would order it again.

Must be hit or miss with this blade. Was excited to try a new blade doing tile for the shower but chipped every piece. Only positive was an easy return.

I consider myself very handy and I have worked with many types of materials but, never with granite. I did some research on how best to cut a granite top. I needed to trim a side cabinet top by two inches to accommodate a larger refrigerator. I chose this blade based on reviews and together with my 7 1/4 circular saw I carefully measured, taped and used a clamped straight edge to help tract to a straight cut. Cutting granite is dusty so I used a spray bottle of water to cool the cut and keep the dust down. Slow and steady is the best way to get it done. The granite is a little over 1 3/4” thick. It did a great job with perfect results. The key, slow, steady and wet to cool the blade while minimizing the dust.

I got this blade for trimming rocks for my tumbler. It works great! I ran it for 2 hours straight and don’t think it’s shown any signs of slowing down.

I was dubious when purchasing this; notably so after trying several pretty aggressive sintered, noncontinuous edge blades that fell flat when wet-cutting 7+ Mohs, (for me, agate and some hard quartz-family minerals). But when I hit foot pedal and eased my first large sample into cut I found myself peeking over the spray guard thinking I hadn't cut more than a cm or so, only to find that cut was halfway thru, already having cut appx 8 in² of rock-face.With this blade I felt almost a pull toward, and into, the blade whereas with the generic continuous rim sintered "tile" blade, the same sample would have been getting forced over the blade because slacker blade would refuse to cut anything that didn't resemble drywall.– I am not one to overstate things, but when I am beyond pleasantly surprised with a buy I will come out and lay it on, which is why I'll gush about this blade to anyone I can corner into listening, ha!Seriously, if you are looking for a thin kerf on a blade that will compare as tungsten to aluminum when put up against the thinner, toothed lapidary blades (the affordable ones), then you should snap one of these up. ...And re cutting, anything else stone or mineral that isn't diamond or SiC slab, this will most likely chew through it faster than you can pick your next cut.It is my new go-to for lapidary cuts and I'll likely stock up with 10-20 just in case they ever leave the Marketplace, heck I may even create some vid content of a sample cut so I can get a sponsorship from Whirlwind. Maybe tattoo their logo on my cheek, ... or forehead, whichever is most lucrative..Happy cutting All! — and if you are using this blade, you will be!
