I got this smart ceiling fan for the bedroom, and honestly, it's pretty slick. The nickel and grey look is modern, and not too flashy. The fact it works with Alexa is a game changer. 'Alexa, turn on the fan' – super convenient. The DC motor is quiet, even on higher speeds, which is a big plus for sleeping. The light is dimmable, so you can set the mood. Six-speeds is more than I'll ever need, but it's nice to have options. Installation took a bit of time, but nothing crazy. If you're looking for a smart fan that's quiet and looks good, this one's a solid pick.

The cons:Pain to install. The mount is aimed to be flush mounted to a solid chunk of wood or steel beam so there’s the appropriate screws to handle that installation. The instructions assume that you’ll have machine screws provided by the electrical box company to mount the main brace. I rarely find any machine screws included in the electrical boxes. To make it a bit more complicated is the heads of these screws are smaller than the holes in the main bracket. I needed to find a solid washer to finally make up the difference.The second pain is the insane amount of excess wire provided to run up the various shaft lengths. The wires have quick connects on the end which are handy, but you’ll end up either wrapping the excess around the main mount or need to cut and splice the wires to reduce the excess. It crowds the space between the mount and the electrical box creating a bit of a nightmare to slide the remote control head into the housing.Third bugger is the magnet collar that hides all the screw holes of the mount’s cover. These Meg nets are strong. I made the error of letting them initially snap to the metal and had to fight the tiny collar piece to release. Be mindful of that when installing or you’ll be cussing to find a way to not scratch the finish and separate the pieces.Pros:This fan is small but it moves the air! The three blades have six speed options that can turn even a 16x18 room into a tiny wind tunnel. After we installed the unit the room dropped 10° within minutes. The fan itself is quiet. My son-in-law noticed that it didn’t make any hums when operating compared to that of the traditional wood blade ceiling fan they had in their room.Lights are intense with various adjustable settings for color and brightness. The remote is responsive and the delay between the commands is negligible. It took us a few minutes to figure the buttons out but that was worth it. Don’t lose the remote, though! There’s no manual option to control settings if that’s gone. I have a second unit to install in the same area, so I’m curious if the two remotes will disrupt one another or not. Time will tell on that curiosity.

I was looking for a low clearance fan that packed some power. This fan delivers.I love that it is Wi-Fi smart. It comes with a remote control, but you can also control it via Google.Super easy to set up!The built-in LED light is perfect. Three different levels of adjustment.

Edit: The seller sent a new fan and it works great!!This fan is garbage! Took hours to put up!! They give you way too much wire which makes it impossible to put up! Onçe we got it up the remote didn't work. Tried the app and it didn't work either!! After hours of labor it's a worthless piece of garbage!! Sending it back!! Also there is no way to contact anyone for help.
