I wanted my kids to have a proportional accelerator pedal on their ride on (power wheels style) car. This did the trick! Keep reading if you’re interested in trying something like this yourself.I was able to fit a small accelerator pedal to the right of the existing pedal in the ride on car. Note, with this set up, the car won’t stop on its own when the accelerator is released. With this particular car, and possibly with others, the drive wheels lock (brake) when the positive and negative motor wires are shorted. So I was able to use the existing (old) accelerator pedal as a means to short the motor cables thereby converting that pedal into the brakes. To make reverse work, I just bought a latching polarity reverse switch and ran the motor output from this module through that switch. I fitted that new switch in the place of the old existing reverse switch. This module also has a brake switch which I was also able to also wire to the brake pedal. When the brake switch on the module is activated (by connecting the wires), it cuts power to the accelerator which I thought would be important for safety. It’s also good to have in case the kids try hitting the accelerator and brake at the same time. (Not good when the wires are shorted) For the brake pedal ( which used to be the old on/off accelerator pedal) I swapped the existing momentary switch with a similar one that had two isolated circuits built into the switch (6 pins on the back side). That way when the kids hit the brake pedal it can short the motors and the modules brake switch in two isolated circuits. The power from the motors won’t mix with and fry the brake switch on this module. The module also has wiring for brake lights which is a cool add on. I used some cheap red LED trailer clearance lights added to back of the car for brake lights. The module also has a power outlet which I used to wire the existing headlights to keep those working as well. While I was at it and since my kids are already pretty good drivers, I also ripped out the old steering override motor to make it easier to steer the car. With 24v of power, it runs great and it’s pretty fast. It does standing donuts if they punch it. I think it’s a great way for them to learn how to balance power with the new pedal. All n all I think it turned out really nice. Not sure how it will do in the long run.

This controller is as advertised. Worked perfectly and delivers that bit of extra you want for your Razor. You will have to swap a couple of plugs, reverse the motor wire, each step isn't tough and the results are better than expected. Adding a variable speed throttle is very nice and will take a bit of time to wire in but worth it as well.IMPORTANT! - To have your Scooters batteries charge. You must have the power-switch on if not it will not charge. The Razor charger needs a signal from the battery to know if they are in need of charging. Failing to do this will result in no charging and a blinking Red/Green light on your charger.CON- It would be nice to have the plugs in English.

Installed on my sons 24v 4WD UTV with 570 motors and it’s holding up well. These things are a must for modifying ride-one. They make it easy to install lights, gauges, charge ports, etc. Tip: if your installing LEDs, headlights, or switches that light up, you will probably need to install a buck converter (step down converter 24v to 12v) because it will be 24v at the connectors. Not all LEDs can handle 24v, trust me, I made that mistake. Buck chargers are cheap. Just install it to the port that’s labeled lights then run it to a terminal strip to add endless components.
