I have three Wittners on a mid-range 7/8 instrument, Larsen soloist strings. Need to do a lot of scordatura (C to B flat) and these make it so much easier and faster to implement. Easy install, fit is good, no string crossing issues.

I've often looked at the traditional cello tuning system and wondered why no-one had invented a more modern systemfor tuning stability - enter Wittner....A bit expensive for a set of four but ultimately the end result is worth the cost.Very easy to fit, simply insert into existing hole, measure length, and cut off excess material. It took around 30 minutes to fit the set.Fitted a non adjustable tailpiece at the same time as the fine tuner version wouldn't be required any more.Super stable tuning, and has a very fine adjustment ratio.Check out the videos on YouTube
