Snug fit in the banana ends. My last test will be how loud I can play my speakers to make sure the wire gauge is adequate. I don't anticipate an issue there. If they pass that, they are great. Great so far.

Works well for the split wires. Gets what you paid for - fairly good quality.

Would have been perfect if the braided end was just a 1/4" longer, otherwise they are great'

The braided wire end is long-enough, and has a small-enough diameter, to fit into the hole in the older Adcom wire/twist-lock speaker connectors, on audio amplifiers such as the Adcom GFA-535 and on multi-speaker selection switches such as the Adcom GFS-6 and the GFS-3.These are great for bi-wiring speakers, from those old Adcom speaker connectors. (Bi-wiring is usually used when speakers have separate connectors for bass and treble.)The braided wire ends of these are about 3 mm in diameter and about 20 mm (7/8") in length. The total length of the part that also includes the metal just above the braided wire (all with a diameter of less than about 5 mm) is about 28 mm (1 1/8"). That length and the small diameter are what makes these work with those old Adcom speaker connectors.None of the similar connectors that I tried, that have solid pins instead of braided wire, were long-enough to work with the Adcom twist-lock speaker wire connectors. So, these were good to find!Side note: If you do have an Adcom GFA-535 (Mark I), you can do a search for 'Hoppe's Brain' site and buy a kit to replace the speaker connectors with standard binding posts.
