They are waterproof and keep my daughter warm and dry at recess. Great quality for the price.

The snow bibs run really small so I recommend sizing up at least one size. But even sizing up, the bibs are cut on the slim side. Yes, there are stretchy triangle shaped side panels but it would only help if your child has a slightly larger tummy but is thinner everywhere else. (see picture) But if they are a bit chunkier all around, especially having thicker thighs, then these will not fit.The insulation in these bibs are pitifully thin that I would not recommend these if your child will be on the slopes for a significant amount of time. If your kid is wearing these to play in the snow outside with a base layer and heavy sweatpants under them, maybe. But to ski or snow tube in them for a few hours or more, I'd give these a hard pass. I think the retailer with the Bulls Eye has better quality. It is true that the fabric is waterproof. I haven't had any snow in my area this year to give it a true wear test of its waterproofing ability but I did lay these out flat on a table and poured large droplets of water (size of quarters) on them and left the water there for an hour. Came back and the water was still puddled on top. After drying off the water, the fabric was dry both on the outside & inside. What I do like: (1) they can be adjusted height-wise by lengthening and shortening the straps(2) there is an inner layer in the legs that have elastic cuffs to prevent snow from coming up the legs(3) there is a front zipper - no buttons to fiddle with(4) there is reinforcement fabric added to the knees to keep them from wearing out too fast since kids seem to puts holes in the knees so quickly. (see pic) But, I wished that the same fabric was added to the seat of the bibs to reinforce that area as well since kids go sledding and tubing and that area also wears fast in snow bibs.Overall, I wouldn't pay more than $25 for these... $30 is pushing it since I think the quality at one of the major retailers (think of Bulls Eye) is better. Or spend a little more and buy one with a significant quality upgrade even over the ones sold at the Bullseye store by buying one from L.E. (the retailer that used to sell its coats & clothes at the defunct Sears and has a lighthouse as it's logo)For reference: The model shown in the last photo wears clothing in size Child 12-14 but is wearing size 14-16 in these bibs.
