Used it on lawnmower blades, axes, screwdriver heads, hatchets etc. Extremely pleased with this product.

I use this for sharpening a spade and other garden tops. Very effective.

After using it to sharpen the lawnmower blade, I was worried it would be damaged based on some other reviews. There WAS a lot of metal debris stuck in between the grooves, so I sprayed it clean and now it looks brand new.I'm not sure if the other reviews are genuine, or if they were trying to sharpen something much harder, but this tool worked great for me.Only regret is I bought the 8-inch. Go for the 10 or 12. I would return if I didn't already use it. You'll appreciate the extra length.

Quality product. I was able to renew and restore a very sharp blade on many garden items......splitter, tomahawk, axe, hedge sheath, lawn mower blades. Very impressed.
