The sizing is disproportionate for my build... (I am 6ft 175lbs CB and purchased adult Medium) Straps are too high up and don't keep the pads low to your shoulders, fits too high on the chest. (straps don't go low enough to hold on the lats, so it chokes my neck on jumps and doesn't cover sternum properly) No way to lower the straps. Xenith Velocity 2 were 100% better (lighter, more flexible and better protection). Besides the sizing being wack, the quality of build is barely above average but reasonable for the price. Would send them back if I could

Purchase these for my son for high school football these come highly recommended by coaches and other players they’re sturdy. They’re safe. They’re sleek and their lightweight. The fit is comfortable and easy to put on and off. My son is excited that he will have top-notch Football’s that he has great mobility and I’m excited that he will be safe on the field.

Bought this for my daughter for high school football. The set of pads she got from the school were so bulky and reduced her mobility. Bought another set of pads from Riddell and then decided to try these Zenith Velocity pro pads. Completely won over by these pads. Girls playing tackle football can find it challenging to find pads that work for their bodies. These pads are light, and move so you don’t feel hindered AND when she wears this you can’t tell what gender she is on the field, which was important to her.

By far one of the best pairs of shoulder pads I've worn in over 17 years of playing football. The fit is snug, material is comfortable and forgiving during big collisions, and they are ridiculously light. I was sceptical when I took them out of the box; there was just no way these could be as protective as the thicker and heavier pads I've worn in the past. However, quantity doesn't always guarantee quality and these pads prove that. I definitely recommend giving these pads a shot if you play in a skill position.
