I like this inverter, because the AC output has a cleaner sine wave than the grid. It's in use every sunny day, providing power to the basement freezer and internet hardware. The only problem I had with this inverter, is the remote control cable picks up AM radio interference from a powerful station 2 miles away. I installed (3) 104M ceramic capacitors inside the 4 wire remote box, between the ground wire and the three other wires. This is not the first time that I've had to add RFI bypass capacitors to a device.

This is a beautifully constructed inverter, and very efficient. It was only using about 5 watts turned on with no load. But it has some major issues:The output has only one single socket, and it's a bizzare 7 in 1 universal socket that doesn't make as good of connection as a typical 15 amp receptacle. (Even though this device is claiming to output 6000 watts, which is 50 amps!)Also the output voltage swings all over the place when trying to start a simple load like a microwave. Probably could fry some sensitive electronics while overvolting. And, finally, it was only able to start my air conditioner a few times, out of about 100 tries. Very frustrating!I wish this inverter was able to support the heavy loads it claims. I had to return mine. Hopefully they'll improve the design soon!

This inverter said it had lots of safety features like overload protections, but somehow it malfunctioned and a surge or something occurred and the unit stopped working. It no longer showed out put voltage but it was still putting out 80 volts. Not sure if at was a surge or the low voltage that caused the damage, but my microwave that was not in use shot Sparks the refrigerator made a hum and pop and died and my water pressure pump burned up. I also found a couple of transformers no longer work for low voltage equipment like my son's Xbox. I have lived off grid for 20 years and have used many 12v inverters and a few 48v units. I will not buy another one from this manufacturer. I also found it odd that they sent a bag of fuses for the unit when the paper work says not to open the thing up.

Sine wave is pure as ac outlet as everything I plugged in that had motors ran just as quiet as standard ac outlet. It ran an 8000 BTU air conditioner with no problems with fan on high and compressor running getting good and cold and just as quiet as ac wall outlet. Only had it in operation for a short time but put 8 hrs. on it today running my pellet stove on just battery power and battery voltage only dropped to 49.2 volts on a 48 volt system with high of 55 volts. I did plug in a 1500 watt heater and it ran perfectly but made the two internal cooling fans on the inverter come on. Very nice so far.
