These adjustable skates are great for beginners to grow into and advance themselves.

I bought these for my 9 year old daughters birthday. She loves the color and they are very comfortable. She says they got perfectly. The only thing she had trouble with is the wheels were really tight so she had to struggle to push her self on the street. I tried to loosen the bearings with she said made them awesome, she was able to glide with ease. Then the front wheel fell off and she fell. I must of loosened it too much. I tightened them a bit more after putting the wheel back on and they are a bit slower now again but not as much as in the beginning. I'm just hoping we don't lose another wheel while she's going fast. Other than the tight wheels these have been great rollerblades and she's been using them everyday!

They both are very good skates for both of them learning how to skate. I would have given them a 5 except the following issues that I experienced:1. I bought both at the same time, the girl one arrived within a week, which is excellent. I do not understand why the boy one take over two weeks, and I have to pay shipping for it, but not the girl one. Why? They are the same size, and the only different is boy (blue) versus girl (pink). My boy asked me question why it takes his so long.2. The girl one, after three uses, I experienced challenge to engage the upper strap in the slot. It took me at least 5 minutes and have to take the skates off from my daughter foot to try and try. It is annoying and very challenging. I will give it another chance this Sunday morning to see whether I could find a way to overcome the challenge. If not, I will return it and ask for a replacement, for it might be a quality issue. Other than these two issues. They both enjoy learning how to skates and making great progress.
