Used the belt as a substitute for a standard belt (or my integrated BCD pockets) while diving during a cruise. 5 different ports/dive companies and I found the pockets really useful. Wish I had gotten the two pocket version as I don't need them all but the flexibility was awesome while others were stringing weights, I was done in minutes. I probably won't ever put my BCD pockets on again (Hydros Pro). Way easier and more comfortable.

This seemed like it would be a good idea but it wasn't. Very heavy and awkward even without the weights. I never actually snorkeled with it. Very disappointed.

I tried two other diving weight belts before settling on this one. I might have settled on one of the others, but one was too short (confusing information on the website) and the other one was defective (buckle was missing). I use it as a walking belt - hoping to improve my hip and spine bone health. This belt is less bulky than the others I tried - a good thing. The weight pockets also can be adjusted a little - another good thing. The belt webbing is very stiff, which made it difficult to adjust. As another reviewer noted, the weight pocket bottoms are not fully closed. They are open on the sides, which could allow weights to slip out. I use the metal shot in mesh pouches, and it doesn't look like they will fall out. I'm satisfied with the belt.

This belt works well with the lead bead weights from the same company. The buckle works nicely and the belt is overall comfortable and compact.The only flaw and annoying thing is the metal stopper buckles are not effective in stopping the pouches from sliding into the wrong place. I always find myself pushing the pouch back towards the middle instead of at the end of the belt strap. The pouches do not slide too much while i have the belt on, but having to adjust the pouches before donning gear every time is really inconvenient.

I use this weight belt for salt water diving to go with a travel BC that is lacking in extra capacity for weights. It works perfectly. Originally I was intending just removing the weight pockets and putting them on the tank band because I noticed that it was cheaper to buy this weight belt than the pockets alone, thus I'd pay and have pockets and a belt...best of both worlds should I need a belt too. The pockets do have clips to keep them in place so I never went to this hassle to use the pockets without the belt and just used them in place as is. Works just fine and I think was a lot less messing around that my plan.
