I love the fit on the crate. My Golden Retriever puppy seemed to love it until he reached around 4 months old. I started to noticed how hot he felt when we would bring him out in the mornings and how he would pant and drink alot of water. The back and one side of the crate faces a wall so I moved it further away from the wall and started to keep the back part folded up so he could get an air flow to hopefully keep him cool. That worked for a short time until he would wake me up in the middle of the night and would keep me awake even after letting him out for a potty break and some water. I ended up clipping a small fan to the back of the crate amd so far that seems to keep him comfortable and cool. I passed my return date so I had to figure a way to modify the cover for his comfort. If this doesn't keep him cool and comfortable i will bite the cost and toss it out. The material is definitely not as breathable as described. I give the fit and look 5 stars but only 2 because my puppy was definitely getting over heated. And yes, the crate is kept far away from all vents so the heat doesn't blow into his closed crate.

these are nice. I purchased two different sizes to cover the two different crates. The sizes are tight to the appropriate crates. They were easy to put on. I like the added functionality of being able to close and cover one side at time. The cover is a good thickness that allows the crate to be dark enough to provide comfort to the dogs. Good value

Its nice and it does block light- I knocked off a star because when your roll up the sides the looped you have to put the pins through are super small - basically half the size they need to be for easy use.It is like vinyl with a cloth surface so it would be easy to wipe down the inside if needed.

I have actually bought several on these covers. I bought a black one for the 42” and I liked it, my dog liked it because she doesn’t like exposure. However the black really showed dander.. my other dog, is a Doberman bless his heart but he produces so much dander that I can’t even fathom how is even remotely possible to produce that much. We even have THREE air purifiers running in their room to reduce it and it STILL doesn’t remove it all, anyways the black really showed it. So I bought a grey one, and honestly it hides that dander so much better, and I find that the grey just looks better to!

This item is very well built my Yorkies are comfortable in it. Easy to clean and it’s mobile.
