I purchased this "Fish Tank Stand" for a different purpose than holding a fish tank and it works very well. The construction is sturdy (although I do not think 700lbs sturdy) and finish is good. I like how the middle shelf is adjustable in case you have some taller items you want to store on the bottom shelf. The inclusion of the USB ports (including USB-C!!!) and power outlets and metal hooks is a nice touch. I use this as a stand to hold some books, electronic gadgets, and a large TV and multiple retro gaming consoles in my man cave, therefore I cannot comment on how well it holds a 50-gallon fish tank. However, I will say that this fits my use case nicely. As many other have stated before you install the power outlet assembly onto the stand finish everything else first and as with any large piece of furniture, grab someone to help, it will make life MUCH easier.

Quality made fish tank stand that could also double as a tv stand. The stand requires assembly that can be a bit timely, 1-2hrs depending on your DIY skills but all parts, pieces, tools & instruction manual are included. After you have it assemble this fish tank stand has a nice design with its product dimensions being 52”W x 31.5” H x 20.5” D capable of holding fish tanks from 50 gallons up to 75 gallons. The stand is made of sturdy durable metal frame with thick hardwood platform that features link hook holders, a storage cabinet with dual shelf space, a 2-tier 30in shelf space & a charging station with multiple outlets that would be useful for powering on aquarium lights or water filters for the tanks. I don’t know if I want to move my turtle tanks onto this fish tank stand or just use it as an additional home storage stand but either way the stand is worth it for the price.

Edited: It took a couple emails back and forth but the seller fixed my issue. Due to poor instruction I had to unassemble and reassemble 3 parts. I’m missing part J, a nut . Emailed the company who told me to contact Amazon for credit to buy the part locally, only way to get credit on Amazon is return the whole thing.

So I recieved the product and was going well until part number 5 support beam whole was too small for the screw and ended up stripping the screw. Tried to get a new piece and screw sent out but would have to take two hours of work my friend and I did and return the whole thing and decide if I’d want to reorder it. My friend suggested going to Lowe’s and just buying a slightly smaller screw which ended up working out. Now it looks great and feels steady. Unfortunate the original screw didn’t work and the company and Amazon were next to no help.Otherwise assembly is pretty straight forward I recommend reading other comments about the plug in wall because that helped a lot. Hopefully this stand lasts
