My biggest gripe is the actual color looks nothing like the photo, and the color is obnoxious. I also think the sizing is off, this came much less tapered then it looks in the photo, should have sized down. Other than all that it is comfortable and made well.

I bought this blanket and another that was at a similar price point. This one wins hands down.This blanket is so much better well-conducted than the other. It feels studier. The other blanket advertised as providing "cool comfort," but this blanket actually delivers. This blanket is 100% cotton construction with glass beads, which feels heavy and cool, compared with 100% polyester construction on the other blanket, which just felt hot and smothering.Cannot recommend this blanket highly enough.

I was skeptical at first, but I had no issues at all sleeping with the added weight. The weight of the 15 lb blanket is similar to being covered in a couple heavy quilts. It is indeed comforting and doesn't feel like it would be too warm at first, but I found myself waking up at night a little sweaty so I agree with other reviewers who say to use a fan (the added white noise is calming too). I sleep with a Fitbit and I noticed that my sleep quality improved dramatically even the first night I used this. I've had it for a few weeks now and I love it.As for comfort from anxiety, I can't comment because it's such a pain to keep taking it off the bed and bringing it into the living room so I haven't really tested it for that specifically, but it has a comforting weight to it, so I can imagine that it would be helpful. I am considering investing in a second one to use outside the bedroom.I didn't like the pattern on the protective duvet cover that this seller has so I ordered one from a different seller on Amazon. You definitely don't need it when it gets a bit warmer out though. I had mine on for about a week and then temperatures went up to 15 deg C so I had to take the duvet cover off and store it. Even now, I feel like it would only be needed in the winter.Overall, highly recommend if you find yourself tossing and turning or just plain waking up every time you turn over at night. Great quality product.
