Unit get warm/hot but doesn't over heat. Has been in constant use to capacity in high humidity room since March 23'. No issues, relatively quiet, plug and play.

I ordered it thinking it would be quiet. It was far from it. It sounded like what I imagine a powered up electric chair would sound like. Maybe if it was far away and i didn’t have to be around it. But to me, it was much too loud.

I used this pump all summer for my hydroponics buckets and I was pumping to 6 tubes and not one issue all summer long. The only things I noticed was it does get hot and is loud but all pumps like this are due to the workload placed on it.Requested: That they include metal clamps for the main hose as when the hose warms up it will pop off. So, I had to use a zip and metal hose clamp for security.

It certainly cranks out the air!It's a little loud, but if you put it inside a closet, it's fine. It does get pretty warm, but that's to be expected. Certainly better than the pump it replaced - on all fronts!The air flow distribution valve provided with the pump is all metal construction and seems to work very well.

I use it as a blower for my CNC. I have it hooked up to one of those dual bendy arms. I had to remove the splitter and replaced the tubing with a single, large inner diameter tubing to get better airflow. The splitter severely limits the flow even if just one tube is connected at the output. You'll want to fasten this air pump down somehow because it vibrates and will slide around if not secured. I'm using a long piece of duct tape. It gets warm with continuous use but not what I'd call hot. A lot better output than the laser air assist pump I had been using.
