Tow straps are all pretty similar. What sets this one apart is that it comes with a seriously tough bag that doubles as a winch line damper and includes d-rings and a hitch mount for the d-rings

This seems like a good recovery kit to me. It gives me flexibility in what I want to use it on and in my case, more for tree cutting work than towing work. The strap is 30' long and at 3" wide has a fairly high breaking strength (13.25 tons), more than sufficient than the trees I would be using it on. Of course if you want to use it for towing it works for that as well and comes with two D-ring shackles for connecting. The shackles come with isolators so that if you want to leave them on your vehicle they will help reduce any noise from vibration. This kit also came with an extra hitch receiver bar if you need it along with a nice velcro closure carry bag. The bag has fluorescent or reflective tape on the outside for better visibility if you are working at night. There are higher strength sets out there but this one is good for the majority of typical usages in my opinion. It seems to be reasonably priced also.

Very tough tow strap. Comprehensive kit: carry bag, with dampener, heavily reinforced loop ends, 2 shackles with screw in bolts, and a 2" inch receiver insert. Bright yellow for good visibility. Also seems reasonably priced.

This recovery strap kit is a solid choice for emergency use. It comes with a pair of D-Shackles and is bright yellow for added visibility. The 30' length will come in handy for most applications.
