the tips while soldered are too short for either twisting with bulb side or even use the push connectors.had to cut every one of them to do the connections. killed the whole purpose as was to reduce work of not cutting the wires and do connection. did not work as I expectedonly positive is with this I don't have to work on live wires or mess up the wiring in my ceiling

These lights work very well and were reasonably easy to install. It is more of a challenge to install in older can lights because the can (which is impossible to remove), gets in the way of the spring loaded clips designed to fit over the sheetrock. However, the springs are strong enough to maintain in the can without coming down. The fit is tight, but you can pop them into the old can ends. I installed these in recessed cans both 20 and 40 years old with minimal issues. The biggest challenge was figuring out how to secure the control box up inside the can so it didn't sit on the wafer. That might be OK, but I didn't want to chance it. So I used a variety of techniques to secure the box above the wafer.Several items not included will make your installation better and safer. First, use a 2-wire socket to wire adapter to provide power. Second, add a ground wire from the connection box mouse trap connecter to a fastener inside the can using a crimp connector on the other end. Many have wingnuts that allow the top of the can to be moved up and down. This is a good place and more assuredly a grounding point than a fastener going into wood. The seller recommends these lights have a ground (though they work without it) for safety reasons. Last, install a rubber grommet in the knockout hole to prevent chafing of the wires exiting the connection box.Take your time and these work well. A dimmer might be a good idea since these are very bright, and moving the illuminated surface to the ceiling from inside the recessed can throws a lot more light and they may too bright. A dimmer will fix this. Worth the time, money and effort to do it right the first time.

Their product quality is great. It saved me a ton of time to wire each individual can light. It is super easy to connect and can tie into existing bulb wiring. I would have liked if the ends had more solder or made with solid wire instead of multi strand as it makes connections to push on connectors easy. Apart from that a great product.
