We absolutely love products like this that give our house life through beautiful, vibrant colors! This light adds such a dynamic touch to any space, whether we’re setting a relaxing mood or creating a fun atmosphere for gatherings. The fact that it has an app to control the lights makes it even better! Being able to adjust colors, brightness, and effects from our phone is super convenient. The quality is excellent, and it was easy to set up. If you’re looking for a stylish and functional way to enhance your home lighting, this is a must-have. Highly recommend!

This light looks good and is pretty bright. The added color control app is very responsive and you can change it to any color you want. The only thing I was disappointed about was that it does a great job of hiding the screws except for the bottom part at the base! They could have engineered those to be hidden too. But overall happy with it. As an assembly tip when you put in the lights, start at the top and work your way down. Then you can hide the little extra left over into the base. It would stick out of the top otherwise. The assembly though easy may be complicated for people that can’t figure out the directions. Overall, I would buy another one.

First things first, this thing is gorgeous. The exterior surfaces are very well made, with a smooth surfaced diffuser and sleek metal tones on the back of the light and base. The light emitted is very bright and the colors are nice and vibrant. Similar to the Hue Signe V2, it can do color gradients (As opposed to the V1 which could only do solid color at once). As others have mention, setup is a bit of a challenge. If you are paying attention to screw sizes and follow the video, it is mostly straightforward, that is until you need to snap in the diffuser. That part is the outlier. It is a very finnicky process to get that thing in correctly and a bit nerve wracking given that you have just the one. Once you DO get it though, the lamp is great. As others have mentioned, the app itself is pretty whack, it gets the job done but not efficiently or with the best UI/UX. Some reviewers complained about a remote, but I didn't expect one (why did they???). The true reason to get this thing is for the Zigbee support! If you already have a Hue system, this is for you, but you probably already knew that given the price and your knowledge of the price of a Signe. Frankly, I'm surprised nobody has just forgone the OEM internals and tossed in a $7 ESP32 with WLED (and a different FCOB LED strip) and just made use of the external body components. I may end up doing that. In the meantime, this thing rocks and is an easy recommend for anyone that has the patience to build it and either already has a Hue/Zigbee based system, or doesn't mind an average app.

This is the only floor lamp I could find anywhere that supports zigbee (outside of the hue). It looks and works great! It also worked with zigbee2mqtt out of the box. Highly recommend if you manage your own home automation network.

Note: I am not paid for this review and I did not receive a free product in exchange for a review. Before you read further, you should know that this lamp should not be compared to tuya-based wifi lamps. This is a different product targeting that has some market overlap, but a lot of us wanting this type of smart product care about privacy and security in our homes. You should also know that you will probably get the most use out of this lamp if you use a Philips Hue hub (I did not test to see if it will connect to the Hue app just using Bluetooth). The bonus with a Philips Hue Hub is that you can also connect Ikea smart lights to it as well.It was important to me to leave a very detailed review because I found this on American Amazon before it was available in Canada and the reviews there are all over the place. The majority of reviews so far are from people who received the lamp in exchange for a review that seem to have no understanding that this is a smart lamp that will need an app to function, cannot comprehend why it doesn’t have a remote (which would be e-waste if you already have a well built out Hue Zigbee system), and haven’t picked up on this lamp being Zigbee. Which is probably going to draw most genuine buyers to this product. The price point of this lamp puts it at the higher end of corner smart lamps, but compared to the Philips Hue Signe, this is an absolute deal. This seems better quality than the typical corner smart lamp.Positives:- THE PRICE IS AMAZING in contrast to Philips Hue- It is Zigbee!!!!- Feels solid and the bottom is nicely weighted- The Fancylink app does not require that you create an account to connect or update the lamp (you connect to the lamp via Bluetooth for this option)- It truly is a gradient light like the Philips Hue lights at a fraction of the cost- I liked receiving the mini screwdriver that came with it to build. It seems like it might be handy for something else one day.- The colours are very rich and strongIssues:- When I connected this to Philips Hue, it would auto turn on when I turned a room’s lights off via a Hue remote. To resolve this issue, I connected the lamp to Bluetooth, updated it to the latest firmware, and after power off function, I changed it to the one in the middle (last colour on or something like that). Then I removed it from the FancyLink App and then re-added it back to Hue. I also made sure to select the power-on behaviour via Hue app. I bought three of these and they all have the same problem. It is very weird and something I hope is fixed in a future firmware update.- If you unplug the lamp for some time, it becomes unresponsive in the Philips Hue app. I am not sure if this is because of my Zigbee network being too massive for my single Hue hub. I will update this review in a month or two because I am going to split up Hue Zigbee network across a few hubs- I tried to connect it to Home Assistant via zigbee2mqtt to see if it would connect and it would not. I do not have the technical knowledge to understand how to make it a supported device. The company can take this on and make their updates available via Z2M and ZHA.- The plug and light do get warm. A bit concerning. They don’t buzz, but I am not used to plugs being warm.Tips for Building:- Fold the little plastic piece along the lines as I have shown in the picture. If you don’t you will be playing with it and damaging it as you try to shove it in.- Pay attention to the screws you have. There are different sizes.- Start at the top as the instructions say for installing the LED strip and the diffuser casing- When you install the diffuser casing, push it upwards as you go so you are compressing it instead of stretching it. If you apply pressure upwards as you go, it will fit perfectly.Random comments:- Quality control in their factory is inconsistent. In one package, I didn’t receive all of the screws listed in the instructions (in the instructions there is 4 of the longer screws when you only actually use two so it didn’t actually matter not receiving 2 less in one package). In the package that was short screws (I bought three lamps), I received an extra of the plastic piece which I didn’t need).- If you already have Philips Hue remotes, you don’t need a remote with this to integrate it into your existing system. That said, on American Amazon there is a listing that has the lamp with a remote. I will be honest – it seems like a much better remote than Hue has and I want it. A remote that cycles through scenes, increases brightness, on and off, etc. without significant programming – it seems great and looks decent. That said, I have my Hue Hub on HA and devices on Z2M on HomeKit via Homebridge so I can program any remote I want.- I wanted the Hue Signe in white, but it is not available in Canada. It is also very expensive. I can live with the silver. If at any point the silver begins to bother me, I will carefully remove the LED and spray paint the tube white.- If turning itself back on after turning off via a Hue remote has been fixed (I have only used the lamps for a day so far so I don’t know if my fix will stick)… go get this lamp. The price point, build quality, and it being Zigbee make it worth it.- Fancylink needs to ensure that people who actually use the Philips Hue system review this product in the future (plus some people who just use it via Bluetooth). If you read the reviews on American amazon, you would never want to buy this thing. But if you read them, you will realize that a lot of people who have been sent this product probably are not the target customer. I showed another friend and he was impressed – also commenting that this is a much better deal than the Philips Hue version.
