Got for my Dad for his bday, we’re new with slate calls but this one was very beginner friendly and has a good sound to it!

Hands down the absolute best slate I’ve ever owned. Effortlessly makes beautiful, realistic sounds. The striker is build very well and has an incredible weight to it. The pot is well constructed and produces quiet and loud sounds with ease. Absolutely fantastic.

I was already partial to ZINK calls, and had only ever used mouth calls. I wanted a starter slate call to see if I liked it and could get the hang of it. This was an excellent mid-range call to get started, without having to spend a ton of money! As always- happy ZINK customer and will most likely be buying another upgrade to add to my collection in the spring.
