I've been using one of these for my driver side front tire. I did not "mount" this parking block in any way, it is simply sitting on the floor of the garage naturally; yet I have had no problems at all. This is an 8K pound truck (2017 Ram 2500 Diesel) and yes, I intentionally pull in slowly, but I would do that no matter what type of parking block I decided to use. This parking block has not let me down and I would purchase it again.

I purchased this to help me park my V8 all-wheel drive SUV in my driveway in front of my RV trailer. I was a bit worried that because my car is allwheel drive that this might not be enough to stop it, but it does a great job. This way I can park my car within 6 inches of my RV no problem.To use this effectively, I first parked my car in the exact spot I wanted it. Then I put this parking guide against my front tire. Finally I used sidewalk chalk to outline where it was, just in case it somehow gets moved, I will notice it.

This is a great product! I says to bole to garage floor which I did not want to do. It is heavy enough that it does not move when my tire bumps it. I go really slow when I know I'm about to touch it and have not had a problem. It's nice if I need to move it for some reason. I used a black Sharpie to make the garage floor around each corner so if I have to move I know where to put it back. Works perfectly! Really am enjoying it!

I laid my on the garage floor. It's not anchored. The item is a bit heavy, reflection is good, you have to align one tire to know when you are on the block.
