I wish the handle were a touch larger for my hands. The design seems to be more geared towards smaller hands, but that being said, it's not uncomfortable.The blades are very very sharp, as the slice on my finger will attest to.Used this several times now, and it works very well!

I have been shopping for a good "channel knife" that is suitable to make some festive garnish strips for cocktails. I have tried other "zesters" but the knife always sucked; I returned them. I have used this ZYLISS (the new model) on an orange(thick peel), a lemon(medium peel) and a lime(hard peel) with good results. I can only hope that it will remain sharp going forward.I really wanted a channel knife that I can "pull" straight back. I've used others with the cutter on the side, but they don't work well for me. It is hard enough to get through the skin of citrus and, in my experience, the side channel knife is more difficult to maneuver. This ZYLISS design with the big, comfortable handle (and a big hole if you want to hang it up) allows me greater control to cut a nice long, thinner, uniform garnish that looks great on the glass rim or in the drink.The zester seems to work fine, should I need it.(And thanks to those people who answered my questions before I bought it. You were spot on...)

Le falta filo, necesita mucha fuerza y es mininima la rayadura que se obtiene, no lo recomiendo. Esperaba algo mas eficiente.

I don't know what the difference between this "old" model and the new one which costs more than 50% than this one, but Zyliss had no need to improve it. As echoed by other reviewers, it is sharp, fits great in the hand, does exactly what its supposed to (make zest) and does it well. Plus it is bright yellow, which makes it look like the lemons it's meant to zest and makes it easy to find in the kitchen gadget drawer. No need to mess with perfection.

Es muy práctico porque cuando se necesita rallar un limón, naranja o cualquier fruta de ese tipo funciona muy bien, y aunque su tamaño es peq

Works great! Haven't used the larger blade to make the lemon twists but I use the grater a lot. I find myself putting lemon zest on a lot of foods now and it really adds life to my usual meals. Put it on salads, it's a winner! Very easy to use, the handle makes it easy to grip. So happy I bought it!
