This is my second Origin F1 and I'll buy more again in the future. Accurate casts with long range casting. The tension knob squeels periodically, take it off and oil when the spool shaft contacts the inside of the knob.

I've been using this reel for a good amount of time now, and have put it on a couple of technique specific rods. It worked really well both on my 13 fishing 8' extra heavy swim bait rod throwing 3.5 Oz swim baits, and on a 7' quantum medium heavy moderate action crank bait rod throwing lures as light as 1/4 Oz.The solid metal frame, and the reel speed are great. Much smoother casts and reeling than my Lew's reel I paid about twice as much for. Drag was a little grabby at first, but smothed out after a couple good fish (and snagging some logs).Overall good reel, I'd recommend it.

For the price I don't think you can find a better deal. While it's not as good as some other 13fishing products, I never expected it to be. This definitely exceeded my expectations, which is no surprise from 13.
