Decent fittings. I like them and so far no leaks. Not sure about longevity but well see.

This is a good deal for this 20-pack of Ufixed 1/4-Inch NPT Solid Aluminum Air Hose Fittings. These are the male sides of the quick-connect fitting pairs, with a female threaded connector on the other end that screws onto the hose connection. I'm used to using brass quick connects for my air hoses, but I thought that I'd give the aluminum ones a try to see how they worked out.So far, so good. Although this isn't of paramount importance, I like the way these connectors look, with their bright red anodized finish. They thread cleanly onto the hose connectors without issues. The one thing I wasn't sure about was how they would mate with my brass female fittings. I first tried a brand new one, and the fit was pretty tight, but they definitely fit. Then I tried with a fitting that I has some wear on it and the fit was a little looser, similar to how it would connect with a brass male end. So no problems in either case.After plugging and unplugging these into and out of the new brass female connector a number of times I didn't see any damage to the anodized finish, which I took to be a good sign that the finish was applied well. I like these connectors a lot, and with the 20-pack it will be a long time before I have to get more (if ever)!
