Bought this for my 15" Lenovo laptop. I had a 65wh battery I had used for my Surface pro so I wanted to try it . This cable works perfectly. Gives my laptop an extra 4 or 5 hours off the grid.

I’ve never felt so enthusiastic about a computer cord before. I’ve mostly used MacBooks personally, and every place I’ve worked in the last 20 years has issued every employee a random brand, clunky laptop with a giant charger. Some of our work laptops are currently 7-8 years old, and I was tired of buying expensive, clunky chargers when they would inevitably overheat or break, and I was hopeful that I could somehow convert my work laptop to a USB-C charger so that I could use a thinner, more light-weight cord. This one is absolutely perfect. I just looked up the size of my laptop’s power input adapter, made sure I had an appropriate USB-C charging block to attach it to (it turned out most of mine worked well), and I was very surprised that instead of waiting 10-15 minutes of my laptop charging from a dead battery before starting up - when I used this cord, the power-on light became an option instantly and I was able to power-up to my start screen in less than 30 seconds. Within 10 minutes my laptop charged to 28% from a dead battery. This cord has made my work laptop functional again. Using this cord greatly cuts down on the weight of my laptop bag when I have to go to presentations and meetings, and for the price, if this cord breaks, I’d gladly buy another, but right now this cord is still going strong and way out-performing the more expensive brand/model specific chargers I’ve bought in the past for PC-style laptops.I’ll also be checking our other office laptops to see what size adapter they need, so we can purchase the right cord for our employees to convert everyone’s laptops to USB-C, which will also greatly clear up desk space since everyone has a USB/USB-C Charging dock on their desk. For the price, it’s worth getting everyone a cord that lightens their load and helps make their company-issued laptops run more efficiently. Also, I know that it works well, because unlike other chargers I’ve bought (the older kind with the giant connector in the middle), I haven’t gotten any “this charger is not compatible with this device” messages - it seems to work perfectly.

This is one of those simple single task items with a lot of nuance. The web description is useful. The quality of construction is very good. It includes a hook and loop cable tie with a “PD for 100W” label. The right angle power plug helps with cable management. Do make sure you get the version with the right power plug for your laptop and that you use a charger that supports 100 watt, 5 amps at 20 volts, PD charging. Also take note of any restrictions on the outlets as chargers of this class often have interacting outlets for the high power stuff so where and when you plug things into them can make a difference in what you can get out of them. This cable can be used to replace the single function OEM power brick with a USB charger that can serve not only to power the laptop but also a phone and a toothbrush or whatever other accessories you have that use USB charging.

Works. Make sure you have a charger that can put out 90 watts. Get a multi port high output charger and you can use it with multiple devices and not have to carry the brick around with you.

Plug fit loosely on a T60 and T420 port. I can't tell if cable the doesn't work, or if it's a bad connection because of the poor fit. I used several power supplies of adequate wattages for testing.
