The light is excellent, simple to hang, and has a long battery life and light-holding duration due to the ability to operate without a wire. This is fantastic and well worth the additional cost. I plan to purchase multiple items to give as gifts to my friends.

I liked this product initially because it provided great light on my music on the music stand for playing the violin in my orchestra. However, even though it is supposed to fold up and unfold when you use it, the hinge that adjusts the light no longer holds the light and falls down so I can't use it anymore. I only used it a few times before this happened and I bought it earlier this year. I reached out to the seller and they provided me with a fix that worked! So now I am very happy with this product!

I've gone through two lighting solutions before this one, one too small and not bright enough, and the other one with cable, so I was stuck next to a plug. This light has 3 levels of brightness and it covers easily two music sheets. I can move it around the room and leave it always attached to the stand. The battery detaches, which is really convenient so I don't have to remove the whole thing to plug it, just take the battery, change it, and click it back. Perfect solution!

This is a really well made product overall. I waited until I used the light a bit before I wrote a review. Of all of the little music stand lights this is the "only" one that I have found that actually fits quite securely and easily into all of the most popular music stands. It is more than bright enough and has three very suitable brightness settings. It has a wide throw light-beam that covers all of the music width on the stand. It allows the position of the light source such that it beams light on the music, not in the musicians eyes nor the audience. The reason I gave it 4 starts was wrt the battery. It is hard to remove and takes a while to acquire a complete charge, so if you forget to charge it prior to a performance you better hope theres a place to do it while you set up. There also is no charge level indicator, so when the battery is drained the light just goes out without any warning. I decided that I liked the functional and overall operational aspects of the light enough such that I purchased a second light just for the extra battery. I also have the second light mounted on a stand I use at home and that is where the battery insert/removal issue arose. Three improvements would be welcome IMO. 1) A battery assembly that is easier to insert/remove. 2) A battery charge level/use indicator. 3) A battery with more capacity. And a question to the manufacturer and or vendor. When will there be spare batteries available for purchase?

Originally I thought the light output was acceptable and the music stand clamp was at best, functional, but ..... the most damming flaws weren't discovered until it couldn't be returned. I found that among its two biggest weaknesses are, it's incredibly fragile (as in CRAZY weak) arm that holds the light itself. Very literally you should NEVER tilt the light up or down! My snapped under the most mild conditions. (Just touching it)Now this no-so-cheap light is trashed beyond repair. Also the battery went dead after just a few months, but I have a battery pack on my stand, so that wasn't a deal-breaker. I really can't emphasize how fragile the construction is ... it's clearly a design flaw, so save your bucks and avoid this flimsy light.
