I'm so excited about this product! I purchased this adjustable picture hanging wire to help me hang a large mirror on the wall. The mirror came with only 2 D rings to hang it on, which is virtually impossible to do with such a large, heavy piece. Yesterday I hung my mirror, after I connected the adjustable picture hanging wire ends to each D ring. This was so easy and quick! The clip-on end is self explanatory, and I was able to figure out the adjustable end without looking back at the website posting. All you have to do is follow the arrows on the wire clamp, and push in the respective button to allow the wire to move. This allows you to remove the end of the wire to string it through a D ring, and then replace the wire in the wire clamp to hold tight and keep the length you need. It would be helpful for the distributor to include instructions for operating the wire clamp side, but when in doubt one can look back at pictures on the Amazon listing to figure out what to do. I had a lot of excess wire left over after adjusting the clamp to get the correct length for my mirror, but I chose not to cut the excess. Instead I made a figure 8 of the excess wire and used a Velcro cable tie to secure it to the hanging wire. This worked great, and it will allow me to re-use this picture hanging wire in the future. The picture hanging wire is very sturdy, and the entire piece is well-made. The wire clamp works well to hold the wire in place, and the clamp held tight when the weight of the mirror was suspended from it (about 25 pounds). The package came with 2 picture hanging wires, so I have a spare for when I have a large item to hang in the future. This is a great product that is well worth the money spent, and I highly recommend it to others.
