I used these to replace the broken BNC on my camera and waterproofed it with self-vulcanizing tape, its working now for the last month.

One reviewer noted poor quality/fitment - I didn't notice that.I have traditionally used these to connect wires from breadboards, etc. to my oscilloscope or signal generator. For that, they're OK. I'm not typically looking for extreme precision - generally looking for the presence of a digital signal. While they're not a great all-purpose replacement for a probe - they're handy sometimes (particularly for the signal generator).I got these to try building wire antenna for my ham transceivers. Building antennas is something I am quite new to - these seem to hit the key points - 50Ω, BNC - they seem to be just the thing.

I knew these were inexpensive - but.... they are all but worthless except for the most rudimentary applications. Look at the photo and notice how off-center these conductors are! And this was just a sample. Also notice all the burrs. These look like floor rejects to me. I do not recommend for any serious use.

These are great to convert your BNC cable to ethernet if you need to run long distances. I like that I can hook three cameras into one CAT6 cable and run it to my garage. It should be noted that you will likely need a power source at your camera or a device to run power over an ethernet cable (POE router or other methods). In my case, I have power in my garage so this works great!

But they are still used as the connector for my oscilloscope probes. These let me connect wires directly to a BNC connector and the attach and detach easily to my scope inputs. No good for high frequency signals, but I look mostly at audio which is perfectly fine.
