Got this to replace the factory burr, which was damaged by a small stone that was inside a bag of coffee (I cannot remember the coffee brand, unfortunately). While I was able to continue using my grinder after I cleared out the rock, the grinder produced noticeably more uneven grounds that affected the taste of any brew method finer than French press.Replacing the burr was easy, and it restored the grinder back to its original condition.

This is the best coffee grinder I’ve used by a country mile. Maybe a city mile, I don’t know witch is longer. It will do a fine enough of a ground for making espresso coffee, however it is not designed for making 50 cups a day. It’s perfect for personal, household use only. Now I should get to the new grinding blades. My grinder sounded like it was dying and dreaded having to replace it. Then I got this new part and my grinder was reincarnated, it was like new again. Please take note…..When replacing the part I noticed there was a lot of coffee grinds packed inside the grinder. This interfered with your newly ground beans getting to the coffee catcher. The coffee grounds get caught in the grinder shoot after the beans are ground and before they leave the shoot. I used a medium sized Zip-tie to clean the shoot. Remove the coffee bean holder and the white ring. You then have access to the shoot. You could also use compressed air as well to clean but it’s a bit messier as coffee dust will fly. It was about two years before I cleaned mine.Cleaning every 6 months would be ideal and for preventive maintenance.I still believe that this grinder is the best grinder of this type. Extremely good build.

After a few years of service, my grinder was sooooo slow - it took several 20 second grinds just to do a single pour-over in the morningTested this new burr - and boy did it make a difference!Same beans, same grind setting:Before: 20 Seconds = 14 grams of ground coffeeAfter: 20 Seconds = 39 grams of ground coffeeThis was 100% worth the expense, and saved me from dropping $100+ on a new grinder!(No, the Bodum grinder isn't good for espresso, but for pour-overs, it's great!)

Passt sehr gut. Am Anfang hat sich die Fräse beim Mahlen des Kaffees manchmal hoch gedrückt und ich musste den Kaffee ausschütten und die Fräse wieder fest drücken. Jetzt funktioniert es.

This product worked perfectly for our 69$ Shardor bean grinder. Our grinder had gotten to the point where we were having to press the grind button nearly 3 times just to fill the bin. Shardor doesn't offer a replacement burr. Figured I'd try this one since it was only 13$ versus buying another new grinder. One modification that's needed is you must remove the plastic housing from the Shardor burr and transfer it to this Bodium burr. Easy with a small flat head screw driver, then viola! My bean grinder outs brand new again!
