Birds were comfortable and happy during the move to our new home. It was great knowing they had a safe and quiet place to be during the moving day chaos.

So I needed to take my Sun Conure, Suni, to the vet. I went several places trying to find something comfortable for my baby to live in while riding. Nothing stood out at the pet stores, so being an Amazon girl I knew I'd find just the right carrier, and you bet, I did!! I'm happy, Suni is happy and it's like home away from home to her.It really is an awesome home for her when she needs to leave home, try it!!

Great carrier for my Cockatiel. Has the privacy flaps for when your bird needs privacy and you don’t want it over stimulated. The panels can roll up to allow viewing of your pet and to allow your pet to see view the world. Great to take your bird to the vet or even just to take your bird outside in good weather to enjoy the outdoors with your bird. Great value. Love it.

Too small for a greater cockatoo. But would be perfect for a lesser or a birb of that size

This arrived just in time to be pressed into use, as I travel frequently to rescue birds from various situations. The call came in, and we packed this carrier into the car and headed off to bring a small parrot back to our sanctuary. This was a LONG drive, so we chose this carrier over the many others we have because it has the built-in flap to completely cover it- and this is important with birds, as overstimulating them visually can be stressful and it is completely possible to stress a bird to death. The carrier also has excellent visibility- better than most of our other ones. For some birds, being able to see a friendly face comforts them even more than being covered- so the versatility of this carrier works for any situation.The included clip-on food and water dish works fairly well- and when not used in the carrier, is a decent snack dish in a regular cage or perch. The one biggest issue is the bottom of the carrier. It's basically a baking tray with a wire grid- it's exactly like some of the trays in out kitchen. Clever way to use products made for other purposes- except that the wire spacing is WAY too wide. The bird we transported is about the size of a conure, and it struggled immensely with the floor. Once on the perch, she was fine- but the floor was a struggle.The second caveat, which is really just an informational thing for you- as a potential user of this- is that all of the carriers which use a mesh material for ventilation and clear flexible vinyl for windows have a potential for damage or even escape if a bird is unattended. The mesh on this is quite durable, as is the clear vinyl window. With enough time and with a determined bird, one could chew through given enough time. This is NOT a suitable replacement for a cage when unattended. If you travel long distance with birds, get a fold-up cage to use for hotel rooms or overnight stays and use a carrier like this for the travel portion.We have many carriers, and this is one of my favorites aside from the floor. I'm going to seek out a different grate for the floor. However, the privacy covers and good perch height to allow for tail clearance, combined with the great visibility when uncovered make this a great choice for transporting your little feathered buddies.
