The description says the brand is Geavess, but the only brand embossed on the seat is Aquarm. There are many seemingly identical kayak seats, with a number of brand names, that are probably from a single manufacturer. They are good.I struggled greatly to make the stock inflatable seats of my Intex inflatable kayaks work halfway ok, but they were literally unusable. Then I ordered unbranded seats seemingly identical to this one for my Intex Excursion Pro K2 kayak. What a relief! They give great back support! No modification of anything was required. With this Aquarm seat, I now have three. This third one will be used in my Intex Explorer K2 inflatable kayak, but using it in that craft will require custom modification: it doesn't have any D-rings for this seat to clip to. Instead, it has the female half of a large 1.5" quick-release buckle on each side of the main pontoons, that the stock inflatable seats attach to. I can't remove the buckles from the pontoon ‒ they're attached to rubbery pontoon material that shouldn't be cut, and that couldn't be resewn.Maybe I can somehow thread a small strap with a D-ring through each of the female buckles on the kayak. The bottom pad of this seat is thin and relatively small, and probably won't provide long term comfort in a rigid kayak, but in an inflatable kayak a soft bottom cushion is not an issue. The small pack on the back of this seat is pretty useless to me, so I will remove it. It has bulk and weight, and I'm not flexible enough to twist around and get anything out of a pack behind me. Perhaps, in the rear seat of a tandem, one might be able to get something out of a pack on the back of the forward seat.At $49 this seat would be a bit steep. Essentially identical seats are widely available for substantially less, though without the small attached pack. But this currently has a 30% off coupon, making the real price $34.30, which is a bargain.

I have three kayaks and none of them had seats. We got a cheap universal seat for one of them and the back support makes it so much more comfortable for longer rides. This one is very similar but the entire seat seams a little sturdier and less flexible. Once I got the backrest adjusted, it provides good support. However, I'm using it on an LL Bean kayak and the rings behind the seat are directly behind it so with the clips and buckles and straps, I can't get the seat portion tight enough and it slides forward when you use it so that you're slightly reclined and less of your butt is on the actual kayak seat. It would be nice if I was able to tighten those back straps more or if there was some non-slip texture on the bottom of the seat. Otherwise it works okay and would probably work better if the rings were positioned further away. At $50 though, it's quite a bit more expensive than the other seat we bought.

Turn that stand up paddle board into a kayak with this nice little seat. Very comfortable, clips on easily, looks to be quality made and hope it lasts a long time.

Great quality! Nice padding for comfort in bottom and back support. Easy to snap in. Much taller back than any other seats I’ve had.
