I did not get this wire for my pontoon boat. I actually got this because I am about to install a few outdoor electrical boxes under my deck at our seasonal camp. And the reason I am using this wire…. Our winters are sometimes a bit rough on anything outdoors. (see the pics)So, I will wire up one ground fault circuit interrupter (GCFI) box and feed from that to a couple of other boxes. Like I mentioned, one box will have a standard outlet and the remaining 5 will have USB ports, as just about everything now with low voltage electrical requirements needs a USB port.As you can see from my attached pics, I need something that can endure a bit of sustained moisture. Also, the casting is very thick, and the individual stranded wires are well encased. With this as thick as it is, it still has plenty of flex to it.Overall, this is going to be a great wire. I did add a couple of pics to compare it to standard 12-gauge wire... huge difference.

I am very impressed with this role of writing. We have a boat that needs a lot of electrical work- really needs to be completely requires, but we are going to work on sections at a time. This roll of 14g wire will be extremely useful with this project. It's marine grade which is important for use on a boat (implied in the name, I know).This roll of writing is well insulated. The copper wire strands have been tinned as they should be for the added corrosive protection needed near water.

This review is for 12 Gauge Marine Wire, 12/3 Triplex Marine Grade Cable, IP68 Waterproof/Oxygen-Free Tinned Copper Stranded PVC 12 AWG Wire for Boat, Automotive, RV, Solar, LED Strips (30FT/9M)Brand: CONEPYThis is great wire. I am using it to build out an RV for the electrical outlets, AC unit, and any other 110V uses. It is much more flexible than Romex since it is stranded wire and much more applicable to this application. Wire is clearly stamped as 12/3 and has similar diameter to what I am used to. Full copper wire is always better than CCA in my opinion.Cuts well, strips well, connects well.

very nice quality wire, super flexible, good thickness for the insulation, and overall a great value especially for the price. I plan on using this in a residential setting as opposed to a boat, but I'm really using it because it's stranded wire and it's much easier to guide around obstacles in the wall cavity than solid core wire.
