The "big flex brand" was $12k so for this price we said lets try and if it breaks in a year, oh well. It's stood up in our moderate production setting for 1.5 years now.3 "fixable" issues:1) absolutely no info about what replacement and additional chucks to buy for different taps but we figured it out2) not counterbalanced well. It's very tiring "pulling it down" to the material to tap. We bolter a heavy chain to it was neutral to reduce arm strain3) very easy to accidentally adjust the tap angle. Good if you want to change it. Bad if you are tapping 1000s of holes and accidentally tap 100s at 89 degrees instead of 90 because of an inexperienced employee. We tack welded ours at 90 to prevent this.

This is a decent unit. Wished it was slightly faster but it served its purpose well. I wish there was an easy way to order fractional tap holders, but I haven't been able yo find them.
