Bought these for my hubby who has mobility issues and he absolutely loves them. They’re a nice size for reaching things on his shelves that are hard to get to by just reaching, but too close to warrant the use of a more standard sized grabber.

So I tend to be lazy and when I can't reach something in the back of a cupboard, I get annoyed with having to walk two steps to the cabinet where I keep the small ladder and then I have to open the ladder and step up and next move stuff around on the shelf to get the item I need. sheesh, my first world challenge! One day I thought it would be great if I had a small grabber, but didn't know if such an item existed. My kind husband went to Amazon, found several from which I could choose, and ordered this one. It does work quite well with one exception, the glass bottles being too smooth to catch. So I grabbed those from the lid, pulled them down to their sides, and pulled them out. A grabber with ridges of some sort would likely work better. I still have to move things around and take down some items, but somehow this just seems much easier. And I was pleasantly proud of my decision to purchase this. :->

Like other people have said, they are very very short. But that isn’t the worst part. The worst thing about them is they are all hard plastic. That means whatever you’re trying to pick up just slips right out. There’s a reason these are super cheap and that reason is because they are super useless and would be a waste of money even if they were a penny.

This grabber is much smaller than I thought it would be, and the grip is not good. I bought it because many of the parking garages of businesses have automated machines. The "scan" is too high for me to reach. I need to reach this to get the arm to raise. I bought the grabber to give me an extra 8 or 9" so I could reach the "scan" window, but I think the ticket would just fall out of the grabber. So I'm a bit disappointed.

I use this product for a "extra" reach to get things off a top shelf. It is good for that.
