Do not buy this to replace your 7&1/4 circular Saw its great for ply wood or 34 lumber. Sometimes comes in handy in hard to cut spots

I bought this saw about a year ago (it’s actually my first saw), and it’s been pretty powerful. Back when I got it, I saw some reviews saying that bigger batteries were necessary to get the most out of it. At first, I was using a 5Ah battery, and it worked fine for plywood, studs, and general wood cutting.Recently, though, I decided to push it a bit further and tried cutting granite(yes, an actual granite countertop). That’s when I realized the 5Ah battery wasn’t enough. You could feel the resistance, and the saw just didn’t have the power to go through it smoothly. So, I got an 8Ah battery, and wow, what a difference! With a bigger battery, the cuts were flawless, fast, powerful, and effortless, obviously using the proper blade.I was already happy with the saw for regular use, but this recent challenge made me want to finally write a review. If you’re planning to use it for heavier materials, definitely go for the bigger battery and right blade. Overall, really impressed and glad I bought it!

Used this awesome tool to enlarge a hole in our cabinetry to fit a speed oven. It would have been great if DeWalt added a saw blade for finish cuts but you can always buy those separately. Excellent tool and did the job very well. Very happy with this purchaseHighly recommended

La Herramienta es muy práctica para recortar, la madera en obra. Te ayuda a no traer herramientas más grandes y un poco estorbosas.Aunque la limitación es el diámetro del corte que permite cortar. Pero para cortar melamina es también muy práctica, solo hay que cambiar le el disco con más dientes para no astillar la melamina.

Desde que la tengo he disminuido el uso de mi sierra circular. Me proporciona cortes bastante precisos con la ayuda de una guía y la puedo transportar más fácilmente. No me arrepiento para nada de la compra

IDEAL PARA CORTAR PUERTAS MEDIDA STANDAR, SOLO HICE PEQUEÑOS CORTES, BUEN FILO DEL DISCO INLCUIDO Y NOTABLE POTENCIA, BIEN CONSTRUIDA, YA ACTUALIZARE LOS COMENTARIOS MAS DELANTE, LE DI 4 ESTRELLAS EN VESATILIDAD SOLO PORQUE EL PESO DE LA HERRAMIENTA ES CONSIDERABLE PARA SER DE ESTE CATEGORIA NO SE DIGA CON LA BATERIA PUESTA, DEBO AGREGAR QUE EN GENERAL ES MUY PROMETEDORA, La Volví a usar con excelentes resultados para algunos será un capricho para mí comodidad y versatilidad, estoy considerando jubilar mi vieja confiable de 7 1/4 a 120 ac o talvez haga mi museo de herramientas antiguas 😝

Buen manejo y fácil de usar. Considero que es más segura que una sierra circular. Hay dos cosas que le incluiría: luz y un láser de guía en el corte, pero para el precio es una buena herramienta. Gracias.

Suelo hacer trabajos pequeños de carpintería en la cochera y esta sierra es excelente, corta a una profundidad de 2" y la potencia es mas que suficiente para cortar una hoja completa de triplay de 3/4" y polines de pino de 2x4 , lo que me encanta es que el motor esta dentro del mismo cuerpo de la herramienta (no sobresale) lo cual la hace muy versátil al momento de utilizar guías de corte y por el tamaño es fácil de maniobrar con una mano.
