I put this on a 20 amp Hercules rotary hammer and use it to make holes for 2 posts. It can usually bust through the rock out here in Texas if you go at it for a few minutes.

Worked great. Only used it twice but it served its purpose and cored through quick and easily.

I used this in conjunction with a rental Makita 4013 1 9/16" SDS Max rotary from Home Depot to drill a 1.75" hole in my home's foundation through one layer of very hard brick backed by one layer of solid concrete block just above the footing. It took a couple minutes with the rotary drill laying in a trench and drilling upwards at a small angle. Overall it was an easy job- far easier than drilling through the same location using a Dewalt hammer drill and 1/2" carbide tipped bit. When done drilling holes the 1/2" bit was noticeable worn a small amount while this Dewalt 1.75" bit still looked new with the obvious scratches from the process.
