The item shipped quickly by the seller and come in perfect condition. The box is well structured and inside the unit itself placed in a plastic bag, a warranty card and in a separated section the USB cable and a 100V - 220V switching power supply. Since there was no possibility to choose, it shipped with US plug. But, it is not a big problem because the unit can be used either in 110V or 220V. However, whatever I tried, I was not able to reach the 5Gbps transfer speed with the unit. However, a 3Gbps speed seems rock solid. Tested with multiple SSDs, HDD and SSHD. So, you can expect something around 370MBytes / sec read and write speed on the attached disks. (if you have fast disk enough of course...)Pros:- Plug & Play, no need to install, no tooling needed.- Nice design, completely fits in modern desktops.- Aluminimum frame- The lights not too strong, so it will not disturb you- micro SD and SDXC reader. However, in my case it was not super fast. ~35MB/sec.- Two additional USB3.0 connection with USB2 backward compatibility. So, you can use your older cam for example...- Good sticking, thin enough rubber feets- Comes with USB cable and power adaptor- Quality materials usedCons:- The SATA section can be dettached from the system only together. So, if you have two disks and wanted to change one, you should "drop off" both.- Do not try to plug an heavy, standard 7200RPM HDD while the unit is on... Most likely it will fail to start. Switch off, insert your HDD, switch on.- thin SSDs might not being hold tightly enough.- The SDXC reader showing only USB2.0 speed & device. In a scale of 1 to 10, I would give 8 or 9. The decvies is near perfect. If you are looking for an a good and stable device that not heating up and having multiple connectivity (micro sd, sdxc, 2 usb 3.0 ports and 2 SATA dock with capability to run 3.5" HDDs as well, this would be a good choice for you. If you are looking for a closed docking station for your disks, this might not be the best for you.Summarized the whole: It worth the money. The games running great and loading in really fast from the attached SSDs. Great value for the money, recommended product.

The docking feature is pretty much essential if you want to get on-hand access to large amounts of data. In this day and age, standard spinning-disk hard drives come with pretty reasonable cost per gigabyte and getting generous multi-terabytes of storage space doesn’t represent such a huge investment like in the past. While you keep those drives on hand, you can easily pop them in or out of the hard drive docking station according to your needs.Whether you want to clone your hard drive to SSD or require occasional access to bare drives, this RSHTECH dock is a dual-bay hard drive docking station that’s perfect for the job. With the super speed of the USB 3.0 interface, it’s ready to tackle all your needs quickly and efficiently. For a dual-bay model, it’s priced quite fairly in my opinion, considering its powerful abilities.I also really appreciated the fact that this dock uses a redesigned cloning technology which can copy your important files from one disk to another without the need for a computer. All you have to do is plug the hard drives together and keep the ”Copy” button pressed for a few seconds until you see the LED flashing. This means that the cloning process has started and to track the progress you can check the LED which has four stages from 25% to 50%, 75%, and finally to 100%. Keep in mind that when you're cloning your drive, the capacity of the B drive (target) should be larger/equal than the A drive (source).Overall, I am pretty happy with this purchase, and so far I haven't bumped into any technical issue with this dock.

Really happy with this hard drive dock. It is exactly as advertised and connects through USB3.0. I have had zero issues with it reading or writing, and the speed is fantastic compared the the old dock I was using. Glad it also has additional ports to connect my other external drives to. I value file redundancy, haha.Very compact design. Made of sturdy plastic. Cords to connect to PC and to the outlet are plenty long. MicroSD and SD readers also work at high speed.Nothing to complain about! Really pleased I found this for such a good price.

Writing this review from a phone, so it will be to the point. The dock initializes on and off for about 40 seconds for for staying on. That means your hard drives repeatedly turn on and off during those 40 seconds too (accompanied by the multiple Window Add Device sounds). This got me the " HardDrive X parameter is incorrect" error message for both of those 4TB drives within one month of owning this dock, and I could not open the drives. After running chkdsk from another dock (located here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07D6L5CJF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and getting the drives accessible again, there was no folders in the drives but the spaces was still being used. While writing this review I am using O&O Recovery software in hopes to retrieve my data. Do not buy this dock.P.S. Every time I would plug in a new device (SD/TF card, USB drive, another Hard Drive) the entire dock would restart and go through the multiple initialization loop again. Stay away.Update: O & O Disk Recovery is truly the best recovery software on the planet and I was able to get back 98% of my files ( after 2 separate software runs ) with there original folders and file structure. It undid a lot of the damage caused by this dock, other than shortening the life of the drives due to the wear and tear caused by this dock's startup sequence. Secondly the FIDECO USB 3.0 to SATA Hard Drive Docking Station recommended above is superior in everyway. There is no damaging startup sequence, it has a smaller footprint, and you can insert SD/TF cards/ USB Drives and the dock won't have to restart. Unlike this dock which only allows single SD/TF card card to read at a time, the FIDECO dock allow both a SD card and a TF card to be inserted and read simultaneously. Best of all both docks are the same price ($38.99) but the FIDECO currently has a 5% off coupon on the Amazon page. This was a hard lesson to learn, but again stay away from this dock.

This product is very well built, feels very solid, it has a metal enclosing instead of plastic. It works amazing well on both my windows desktop and my macbook pro. My two harddrive (1.5 TB and 8TB) can be detected correctly, and on mac, other than data storage, you can also use it for time machine backup, which is pretty neat. This dock station also offers two 3.0 USB ports, I tested with my flash drive, I am getting a transfer rate around 120MB from the drive to the PC, which is within my expectation for a USB 3 port. The SD and MicroSD card slots are definitely a plus, I’ve used it a few times to read data from my phone and camera MicroSD card. Overall, I am quite happy with the purchase, with the features it provides, I no longer need to keep two docks, usb hub and card reader on my desk.
